Girls build summer camp
My friends/colleagues Mary Wolfe, Cathy Pollock & I taught at Girls Build summer camp in Portland, OR! So rewarding to teach EIGHTY girls how to use lots of tools and make things in one week.
aia national convention
as president of AIA idaho, i represented our members and advocated for rural states to receive more funding through creating a hybrid convention format. our state delegates had the opportunity to meet aia president kimberly dowdell. I enjoyed talking with the reps from hempitecture, idaho-grown and manufactured insulation, and hempwood.
Lastly, i have been serving on the national 2030 working group, advocating for more architects in the rocky mountain west to report their projects’ emissions. we held a round-table discussion to discuss and problem solve. in the future, both embodied carbon and operational carbon will be modeled and reported.
it is an honor to serve with and represent some of the most cutting edge and knowledgable data nerds who are creating market transformation.
